The Mundelein Baseball and Softball Association (MBSA) is a community based program in Mundelein, Illinois whose mission is to provide boys and girls, ages 5-15, the opportunity to learn the value of competition, sportsmanship, teamwork and self worth through the playing of baseball or softball.

    Covid-19 Update 4/1/2020

    Mundelein Baseball and Softball Families:

Following Governor Pritzker’s extension of the shelter in place order, all baseball and softball activities will be suspended through at least 4/30. Our Board of Directors continue to monitor the situation, and while it’s too early to determine a start date for the season, we will provide another update in late April.

Baseball and softball are not only America’s pastime, but an outlet for so many in our community – parents, grandparents and children – to get outside, have fun, create and build lifetime friendships, be kids (or root our kids on), as well as a barometer of normalcy in these very abnormal times. To that end, we stress that as of now this is just a suspension of the season and it remains our full intention to play ball this year -  albeit not on the same begin and end schedule as has been maintained in the past. We will continue to do everything in our power in order to safely begin the season as soon as possible.

Looking forward to better days, again hearing the crack of the bat, the chatter and laughter on the ball fields and the umpire finally shouting out “PLAY BALL!”.

    Stay safe, stay well.
